Instructions to Authors

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the online submission procedure. Successful submissions will then proceed to an initial screening, upon which the authors will be notified of the status. The editors of this journal will aim to review and comment on the manuscripts in an effective and timely manner. Four types of articles will be considered for submission:

Original Research Articles

These articles consist of novel research data that has not been previously published in any other journal. No page limits are set on such research articles. These manuscripts should include the abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, references, tables, figures and figure legends.

Review Articles

The aim for these articles is to provide a comprehensive overview of different stem cell related findings, methods, assays, and developments. No page limits are set on review articles

Brief Communications

These are short research articles aimed at demonstrating novel findings that have an important impact on the stem cell realm. Brief Communications are limited to 4,500 words. These manuscripts should include the abstract, introduction, materials and methods, figures, tables, results, discussion, conflict of interest statement, acknowledgements, references, tables, figures and figure legends.

Clinical Reports

These reports focus on the impact of stem cell research on patients in a clinical setting. These reports should provide novel findings that will enhance the current understanding of stem cells and development of therapeutics.

Article Processing Charges

Open access publishing is not without costs. Proceedings of Stem Cell Research and Oncogenesis therefore levies an article-processing charge of US $800 for each article accepted for publication to cover the publication cost. We routinely waive charges or provide discounts for authors from low-income countries. For other countries, article processing charge waivers or discounts are granted on a case-by-case basis to authors with insufficient funds. Authors can request a waiver or discount during the submission process.
